I'll give you a hint.... I will not be voting for the adulterer with a history of fraud, bribery, and scandals, who has stayed loyal to the orange man, but not his own wife. Honestly though, it's gross to think about all the women married to GOP politicians who will always make kissing Trump's butt their #1 choice.
Talarico and I’ve been making sure all my family members are registered to vote and will actually go out and vote I have a few lost cause sellout black MAGAs in the family who vote Trump/republican because of abortion, religion, and homophobia…sounds like they won’t be voting in the midterms which I’ve been highly encouraging, because even they can’t refuse to acknowledge how terrible this Trump regime has been
It’s hard to say who you would vote for but what’s easy is knowing that nobody should ever vote for Paxton or Cruz type people
I’ll believe it when it airs. Letting people see/hear Paxton only helps talarico due to Paxtons looks/voice. He only has to worry about being s terrible human being if he avoids the debate.
I suspect Texans would vote for Satan himself, if there was an elephant involved and a capital R next to his name.
It’s amazing what low information voters believe about this country. One of my clients told me that we are lucky that Trump has built alliances with Iran and Russia to protect us from Palestine.
Why are Americans so stupid and gullible? The amount of friends and family (some of which CLAIM to not be MAGA) who have gone on diatribes in recent days about how “The Commies are coming!!!” is insane. Even about Talarico where they are going on rants about they could never vote for a Communist etc etc… Im just like… how stupid are you people?? This guy I know helps build rockets for Lockheed Martin. Knows how to fix old cars. Can quote every line from any Will Farrell movie, but cannot tell me what evidence he has that a former school teacher and Texas legislature member would be able to single handily turn the United States from a capitalist economy with a representative democracy into a fully Communist society overnight. He was like… look I hate Ken Paxton… BUT I just cannot vote for a COMMUNIST!! The sad part is we probably need guys like this to vote for Talarico to win elections in this state. What TF do you say to people like this??? Or are we just doomed by the overwhelming power of chosen ignorance??
They prefer Corrupted Capitalism to the hint of Communism. Why don't you like Communism? It's not fair Why do you like Crony Capitalism, its not fair either? Well there is a better chance of me being a crony than me rising in communism . . or that is why I am told Rocket River
I had people tell me they hated trump but could not vote for a woman who slept her way to the top.......................talk about dripping with irony. Even now when my niece and her hubby (who are just the nicest people) moan about not being able to get a bigger house due to rates and inflation...........they throw out the old "its Biden`s fault"...........you cant reason with people like this.
The sad reality though is that as a democratic society we do rely on those people who are SUPPOSED TO be more of your moderate swing voters to be able to reason, and vote based on common sense. However you and I know that even the supposed "moderate" voters here in the US, and especially here in Texas are so inundated with right wing propaganda, cultural peer pressure, and just ignorance that you just cannot rely on them to not default to these talking points that they hear, store back in their brains, and pop out when they actually have to make informed points in conversation, or actually vote on it. I hope I'm wrong but I just don't see a society that really cares enough to be democratic anymore, and the majority here in the US are more concerned about hunkering into their cocoons of ignorance than they are with having the right that a free society is allowed. There's a reason why the vast majority of societies since the Roman era (when Democracy was created) have chosen authoritarian over self governance..... Its easier. Again... hope I'm wrong but I get the sense we are unlikely to be a democratic society much longer. Maybe in name only, but functionally I think the evidence points to us being toast.
