Did you have a certain number you wanted when you negotiated your salary? Have you been disappointed when you didn’t get that number? Did you ever in your life complain about your salary or pay? If he’s disappointed let him be. The judgement and unrealistic expectations telling him to not have an opinion is hypocritical to me. He never said he wasn’t grateful to be a professional player either.

Can we please stop turning on our own team. You whining about him is almost just as annoying as him reacting to criticism. Alot of you are incredibly cringe.

Every lesbian I know is a cold-ass b****. Lesbians arent emotional gay men.

This thread is offensive to lesbians.

    Yes!

I actually was underpaid and guess what?
I didn’t run to social media and whine and get passive aggressive.

I took the L and understood that’s life and move on and learn your lesson to avoid it happening again.

Newsflash in life everything doesn’t go your way for EVERY human being that’s ever lived.
    That’s why it’s entitlement.
You think he the first person that didn’t get paid what he felt he deserved? Thats like 90% of humanity

The difference is he still just got generational wealth.
You know what a mature proactive person would do?

Go get an entertainment agent and a really good financial advisor and then work on a plan to go get endorsements deals and make investments or work with venture capitalists to start earning even MORE than what he wanted from his NBA contract.

You know what an entitled immature person does?
Whine & complain and get defensive and puts on a “woe is me attitude “ and doesn’t even put the energy or brain power into realizing he can take his roughly $40 million he will actually see after taxes and he could just use 1-10 million to find ways to grow that exponentially.

I have very little respect for "athletes" who b**** about multi-million dollar contracts, getting paid to play a sport and then whine about not starting, held back, not getting what they deserve etc.

you’re criticizing me for having different thoughts and opinions from you and others. Sorry I don’t do groupthink and just go along with whatever people put out there. I’m an independent thinker. You may not have original thought or value that but that doesn’t mean I have to follow along with you.

it’s interesting to me that those who don’t go along with masses on this site are often outcasted or criticized. I apologize for having original and independent thoughts unlike you

I’ve literally studied and researched more conspiracies and abstract thoughts & seminars and data then you probably ever will in life.

The irony of making assumptions and being judgmental when claiming to be original & independent

and yes I realized I just did the same thing.
But we are all walking contradictions

Great. Doesn’t mean anything to me or this discussion. I simply disagreed with you and spoke my mind but received judgement, criticism, and accusation from you and your online pal for being contrarian then mocked. Nothing you have said about Eason is different from what the mob on here have said. These are the same people who criticize and ultimately outcast those whose thoughts don’t align with the masses. I don’t do anything to provoke or incite. My thoughts are simply different than yours or the masses. Look at how sensitive you are to this conversation resorting to snarky comments. So i apologize for being direct with you and called your behavior hypocritical.

Trust me it’s all good bro

we just all riffing about a sports game.
I’m honestly not trying to criticize you or even downplay your opinion.
I’ve learned to try and see things from all perspectives and as long as it’s not hurting me or impeding on another human beings freedom or rights, then I don’t take it personal and people should do them.

But I also learned about reality and we’re just trying to get you understand why people have a negative view of Tari and why it’s off putting.

I can see his side, and while we can argue there’s no true objective “right or wrong” , more people view his opinion and perspective as wrong

and to your point maybe that’s us being NPC’s and just agreeing with masses. Cool.

What you / he have to learn and I learned which is what stopped me from wanting to just be a contrarian and argue all the time is sometimes you have to know when to just do you and let it go.
You can’t let your ego try to just prove to people your right. People will literally be ignorant (ignore facts) to keep believing something.

He wanted to speak his piece after the signing, cool.
He may feel it got taken the wrong way.
The best move he could have made is just ignore all of us.

Most of us made a comment about it and talked **** and that was that.
    we went about our way.
If he came back next season and balled out then who cares.

But he let his ego & emotions get involved and doubled down and belittled people.
So now he pretty much just validated what a lot of people thought and it actually made some people who were neutral now view him in a negative light.
Tbf Wemby did the same thing after the finals.

Rule #1 You CANNOT beat the internet or the masses. It’s you vs an infinite number of people.

The minute you let your ego & emotions trick you into trying, your cooked.

Each person processes things differently. You can’t expect everyone to do it “your way”. Did you moan and groan about your salary and complained to others whether it’s coworkers, friends, or family? Or did you completely not say a word to anyone, which I find hard to believe.

He is his own man and he simply responded to hate he received in the media and from “fans”. That is the topic of this thread. The post he made on social media was directed at the vitriol and hate he received. You and others are conflating his cryptic “i guess bruh” post which you don’t have knowledge of what he actually meant and therefore you only conjectured and assumed what he said. As i said, even if he was talking about his contract it is understandable and not that big of a deal. What does it matter to you? He’s 25 years old and part of the Gen Z social media generation. He didn’t even whine and complain with any woe as me attitude. He simply posted one cryptic post which you all went crazy about. Who cares?

You also assume a lot about him. You seem fixated on this generational wealth thing and assumed he hasn’t invested or have any plans with this money. Unless you’re his financial advisor?

That is unacceptable. Back in my day, posters used to show up at people's houses and take pics of their residence as proof. @batmanjones
