The curveball game was great but his performance vs Seattle in 2022 is one that always impressed me. 18 inning game that he started and posted a big fat zero with 6 IP. 1-0 victory. Shout out JP3 for the homer and Luis Garcia for 5 scoreless.
I have a signed Greeneville Astros shirt McCullers sent me as part of a fan appreciation thing he did on Twitter when he was still 20 years old. Lance is a legend of this era and those 24 curveballs against the Yankees was one of most badass pitching performances I have ever seen ever. I’m shocked he agreed to a trade.
Batman cleats, the throat slit against the royals, 24 straight curves, pitching hurt in 2018 post season, the 2022 game against Seattle, the dodgers game, etc. nothing but love for this H-town legend
Those legendary curve balls, that game against texas he went at Napoli, "they have Texas on their jersey, but we have Houston" etc. wish it could've ended better. Also wish him the best.

I'll literally never say an unkind worded about Lance. He gave his all for the city and almost certainly would have had better health outcomes if he was a less awesome person. He should never have to buy a drink in this city as long as he lives.
Nothing but love here. I’ll never forget his contributions to the Astros. He was without question a massive part of the city and org getting to finally taste a World Series winner. Dude was all H all the time and that’s what I choose to remember. At least when the body broke down he worked his arse off trying to get right.
He leaned hard into Houston and I love that stuff. I’m an astros fan because they’re from Houston. Had they moved to Northern VA it would have been **** them for me…same as it was for the Oilers. Players from elsewhere who lean into that are my favorites. See my moniker here.
LMJ was an integral piece to the golden era of Astros baseball and I am thankful to have watched him come up and help bring championships home to Houston. I wish him well in Milwaukee. Thanks Lance for all you did.
