    It’s today’s Washington Post sports page so I am going to accept the photo as real even if altered. Old people get sick and hospitalized all the time.

    Given the press release, he's almost certainly at an acute care inpatient rehab, and he was allowed to dress up for the photo. He probably was extremely deconditioned in two weeks of illness. It happens a lot in the elderly.

    Is he really elderly though? Diane Feinstein, Ruth Ginsberg, Trump, & Biden all think he is prime politician age range.

    I want to see Mitch back in office pronto.

    This whole affair made them realize our government is completely broken. Our Senate doesn't work. Our House doesn't work. Our SCOTUS does most of its work in the shadows. And POTUS is effectively a despot.

    If u end up in the hospital, u would b wearing a hospital gown hook up with an iv line.

    If he was healthy enough to change back into an a plaid shirt and jeans, he would be able to contact the governor of his state to provide proof of life.
