the hypocrisy lies in graham (allegedly) being gay, but pushing for anti-gay and discriminatory legislation.

i remember graham standing up against the bush administration on a few issues, mainly authorization of torture. i respected him for that. i remember him in 2015 and 2016 saying trump was basically a scumbag who would destroy the republican party (he was right). i remember him saying that if you want to make america great again then tell donald trump to go to hell. then, like so many others who were critical of trump (ted cruz, rick perry, JD vance), he became one of his biggest sycophants. i dont believe any of them changed their tune b/c they thought they were wrong about trump...they did it for cynical political posturing. they knew if they went against trump they would lose their job. simple as that. they all know exactly who trump is and they went along with it because they are cowards who didnt want to get primaried. and they were also genuinely scared of trumps supporters...remember after january 6th when graham said "count me out" then a few days later he was walking through an airport getting harrassed by a group of trump thugs. he looked scared...you could see it in his face. within a few days he went groveling to mar-a-lago, put on a trump golf club polo shirt and got back in his good graces. it was pathetic, but thats who lindsey graham was. keeping his job was his priority...he wasnt alone on that, but he was probably the worst offender. and that will be his legacy.

Don't lump all people into one category. I voted Democrat, but am not homophobic, nor did I ever mock Graham for being closeted. I could care less if he is straight, gay, or in the closet. The same goes for calling Democrats antisementic. I have nothing against Jewish people. I do have a problem with their leader, and his genocide, and killing of thousands of innocent women, children, and civilians in Gaza and Lebanon. I find it horrific seeing innocent children getting limbs blown off. Even the majority people of Israel don't approve of Netanyahu. That doesn't make them antisementic. I also don't make jokes, insults or disparaging remarks over someone's death, or when they are brutally attacked.
I personally think he was feminine and it's funny. I never thought of him as gay. I honestly wouldn't care, but I always thought others were amused by him being feminine also. Regardless the joke for people who believe he was gay is that everyone can see it. I do think if he was gay he had no obligation to be open about it I am impressed by anyone who steps up for their siblings like he did
His whole life was dedicated to butching himself up. Literally. Bombing civilians in Gaza and Iran, indiscriminately? Not an issue. Go look at his interviews (do so on an empty stomach). He was susceptible to blackmail thanks to his "allegedly", and I'm sure Trump exploited that (some individuals are coming forward with claims about Graham's exploits but I just mention them as possibility of blackmail while knowing that nothing is verified; I only care because of the hypocrisy). Graham was also a virile homophobe, which might go to indicate that every accusation is a confession. He isn't the first opportunist to ever serve in Congress, but he was one of the most visible. He and JD Vance. It was a surprise he passed, and I'm not happy about anything like that. But let others eulogize him.
Weird...my entire Jewish family are all Democrats. So just because we'd prefer no genocide...like against anyone...that makes us antisemitic? Know plenty other liberal Jews as well.
