Sad, but I think you might be right. I think if he's available for playoffs they got incredibly lucky. I would be shocked if KD is available either. I don't know if Ime can help but run his players into the ground.
What I know from Reed he went from bust and worst 3rd pick in his rookie year to an average starter level player his 2nd year. Lets see if he improves again and outplays FVV and Smart to be the 6th man, otherwise even Thornton is gonna push him down the rotation.
Thornton? I hope so. but that’s a lot of faith for 1 summer league game Reed averaged 15ppg and had multiple 30 point games vs contending teams where he was the best player on the court. Bruce has a long way before he wins his first MVP
I must be watching different games, but Thornton is having the same issues as Reed (getting by his man, breaking ball pressure) and he’s having the issues in SL against guys who won’t make rosters.

Still think Shepherd will improve. I wouldn't give up on him yet. Under the right coaching, I think he would bloom. He likely has a personal trainer.
I would enjoy all of those videos a few posts up. Those will surely represent the peak of Reed, his career and anything he does well for us. He probably begins to tail off this year. DD
