    Round 4, Pick 121: Kam Durnin, SS, Missouri

    Transferred to Mizzou after two seasons at Wichita State. Reminiscent of Nick Monistere from last year as a guy who has some power from the middle infield and could be a utility guy.

    If they had a deal with a highly rated HS player I don’t understand why they wouldn’t take them today rather than give them another day to negotiate with other teams or get cold feet. There are Huezo and Ochoa types that wouldn’t be on the radar but it doesn’t seem like they’d require the amount of overslot money Houston should have available.

    Round 4 (compensation), Pick 133: Beau Peterson, 3B, Mill Valley High School, Shawnee, Kansas

    Perfect Game rated him as the #1 high school 3B and #18 high school player overall. He's committed to UT.
