Project Hail Mary (Prime Video) 9.0: I felt it was a mix of Interstellar, The Martian, and Moon, but held on to own it's own identity plenty. The suspense was really good, and the angle in which the crisis was approach was good science fiction. Pretty long movie if you're going to watch it. Apex (Netflix) 7.5: It started off pretty good but as the conflict got melded into the plot the continuity and plot armor kind of ruined it's originality for me.
"Protector" (2026) with Milla Jovovich It wasn't a bad film. It felt a lot like watching "Taken" but with a nice twist at the end. "Taken" is still the better film. But, this was an admirable effort to match its intensity. 8 out of 10
Obsession - 9/10 for a 1st time director, this was pretty damn good might end up being the best horror film of the year movie did a great job of maintaining a creepy atmosphere with no lame jump scares horror seems to be having a resurgence the past couple years which is great for me because it’s my favorite genre
Great horror/thriller, I've never heard of Inde Navarrette before but damn she can act. I was pissed from the start with the prick for not asking her out in the first place and wondered would could have been? She's screwed either way at the end...
