When it comes to clutchfans its all eyetest, feelings and what you can make people believe. Remember Houston is in Texas the land of make believe reality.
That's what I've been saying for the past 20 pages. Only improvements I need to see is that horrid 69 from FT and surpassing Jabari for that 2nd slot in Midrange %. The 42% needs to be 45% next to Durant's crazy 51%. . Takes a lot of practice for those that suck at shooting. KG was stuck at 41% for 6 seasons. I've given up on Amen and Alpi shooting 3s. Just practice them to exhaustion behind the scenes and unveil it by your 26th birthday. What's not shown in zeeshan's excellent post is how effective Sengun was in the Teen Wolf set. It was as effective as Durant's touches from that same action. The difference was the ability to hit the freebies. The most WTF reactions? when he is the nearest defender he gives up a basket 47% of the time. Oh my god! he is a traffic cone! Then you realize it's NBA in the post 2010s era. Wemby, Chet, Amen, Durant and Goober were the only ones better. Some teams in both the nba and nfl play styles where you can't manipulate the ratings. We're one of those teams. It's unfortunate for the offense though.
it is surely a personal choice, but if they are keeping the season this long, they should find a way to increase the number of competitive games. a lot of regular season games are simply meaningless. this hit me even harder after seeing how pathetic Ime was in the playoffs and some tried to justify his coaching by regular season wins.
Alpi is playing Switzerland right now. Started the game next to Adem Bona from sixers. And he is so good at finding him for easy dunks.
As expected easy win for Turkey against Switzerland. Alpi with 17/6/5 and 3 blocks and 3 steals. Next games will be at the end of August but Turkish commentators said that Alpi will probably miss them because he will be preparing for the NBA season.
Fouls drawn #10, #11 Durant (373)and Sengun(366) . It's an art. Pretty cool and frustrating. So many times in the regular season and post season, they had the other team in foul trouble early. Nobody would take it to the basket. Settle for bad shots instead of auto-freebies. If Amen can go from #26 to 13th, that is rare company. I think he will.
he probably would be best at power forward. To me it doesn’t really matter, whoever plays next to him needs to be able to block shots, needs to be relatively tall and needs to be able to shoot from the outside. Smith, is actually kind of close to being the ideal partner. But he would need to add quite a bit of functional strength pretty quickly, and he would have to get better at blocking shots at the rim. I do think he has improved there, but it’s just been little improvements on something that he never really was good at.
