I don't think we'd deal with Portland. The West is stacked enough. Unless we do a more complete reset, which management / "coaching" might not stomach.
The way I see it....Portland has already gotten much older. Total commitment would be dealing for KD. They'd be sitting with Ja, Lillard, KD, and Jrue.(who might go) That is a ticking time bomb for implosion by injury. We would take a step back, let them implode... we're on a different timeline. They wouldn't be in our way. It also buys us more time to fire Ime while preserving/adding assets.
i think Jrue would have to be part of the trade for matching purposes. Drue + Sharpe, plus 28 Bucks frp would do for me. If they can get more great.

Why would the Pistons get the picks when they're giving up the weakest players and getting back the best?
the Pels are getting fleeced on that deal. No way they'll do this trade as they would get better deals if they do trade Murphy, Murray, Queen and Fears individually
