I just watched the highlights of Egypt vs Argentina. That was way more corrupt than anything that happened with the US team. On replay they took away an Egypt goal and gave Argentina a penalty kick on a "foul" that took place 30 seconds earlier. On the game winning goal almost the exact reverse happened, but they didn't look at the replay.
Egypt could have also played better defense that way there wouldn't be corruption due to Argentina scoring goals...

I happen to be in Budapest for a little vacation and it's shocking how poorly we are viewed now. I went out to a sports bar to watch the game with my team USA gear and was literally getting yelled at in the street with people saying Trump is a loser etc. I went to another bar the next day and noticed the bartender had an American accent. I asked where she was from and she says Canada. I ask what part and she confesses actually California. Trump has made a lot enemies out here and by extension life for us a bit harder over here. It's sad.
I wholeheartedly agree but that's rich coming from a country who elected Viktor Orban continuously over a 15 year period.
