    When you start out without NBA athleticism is most likely your future is not in the NBA..... and even Daishen Nix leaves Bruce Thornton in the dust when it comes to speed and agility....a guy who is basically slightly better version of the same player.

    Meh. Nix was a big, fat guard who couldn’t shoot. Aside from size limitations, there’s really not a ton of weakness to Thornton’s game. Thornton is a three level scorer, good playmaker, pesky defender, and has high basketball IQ. Guys like that tend to stick around in the NBA as role players and bench spark guys. To me, Thornton is the definition of a high floor, low ceiling prospect.

    What’s there not to like? Locked down on a cheap contract for 4 years - but we can cut him lose after only 1year…no risk there…

    he wasn’t the pick I woulda made - hope I’m wrong… but couldn’t ask for a more team friendly contract…
