If we are coming here for “the state of the Democratic Party” updates I think it’s a pretty positive state when there’s a candidate who is getting pulled out of a race when it’s come to light that they have baggage from their personal life that stepped over the line. If this was the Republican Party, Platner would be MORE popular with Trump and the maga base of supporters if they were accused of sexual assault. Im quite happy that the party I have been voting for the past few cycles and especially their voters care enough about morality to hold their candidate to standards that the opposition not only doesn’t… but actively embraces immorality. Trump was mentioned over 1000 times in the Epstein files. In those files he was accused of horrible acts against a minor. How many of you called for him to drop out of office?? Platner is a good politician with good policies and it’s good that the voters and the party are willing to say no when there is credible evidence of something like this. So again… when are you going to also demand that Trump resign??
