His fastball has no movement. When his secondary pitches aren’t locating, the batters are just waiting for his fastball. How this guy is still in the majors is beyond comprehension. I just cannot see Burrows getting better this season. He is a liability every time he steps on the mound.
It’s not Joe, it’s Dana. He traded two top prospects from a system with not a lot of talent for a pitcher with “years of control”. If he sends him down, then he looks bad. However, every time Burrows pitches, Dana still looks bad.
