When we go 8 minutes without a bucket you will wish he was sitting there in the folding chair wearing the ketchup and mustard.

False, everyone doesn't have to be a 3 pt shooter to provide spacing. What the Rockets lack, he can provide. They have trouble scoring late in games and that's something he does very well. He's also durable which is a bonus. He can also play his position and guys his size. Don't let analytic confuse your thoughts. That's part of the issue with Rockets now.

Don't confuse 3 pt shooting with shooting. 3pt shooting is range, not actually shooting.

    Hell no.

That's coming from someone who's watched more than his fair share of Kings basketball over the past several years and actually likes DeMar.

He will absolutely cook from the midrange like few players ever have, but that is literally all you will get from him.

He doesn't move off the ball and he doesn't play a lick of defense. You'll pull your hair out from the fact that half the "threes" he makes are overturned because his toe was on the line.

There is literally no reason to add him to this team just to take possessions away from developing players.

    No.

Rockets need to focus on guys who are elite at three point shooting to round out the roster.

Gary Trent Jr. should be the #1 target with the minimum.

If they want a scorned King they should wait to see if Zach LaVine is bought out.

They would be better off trading KD to them for LaVine and frps, if possible. You are correct, in that any targets we have should be plus at 3 pt shooting. Derozan is just a poor man’s KD without 3 pt shooting. KD would be great offensively for us if he would agree to play off ball, 90% of the time, but that is not in his DNA.

It's so funny the idea that there's anything we need less than worse spacing.

"Yeah I get it our spacing is suffocating us, but we need guys who can create"

Meanwhile every single player you brought in to create plays was a disappointment because of the spacing.

Stop throwing money down the drain. We don't need anything at all offensively other than fewer non shooters.
