I think there is some good young talent on the Wizards i wouldn't mind snatching up for Durant. I could see them trying to go all in with Trae Young / AJ Dybatsa / Kevin Durant / Anthony Davis now that they have committed to Young and Davis but doubt the numbers would ever work. I like Sarr, Johnson and Coulibaly as long term guys to pair up with our youth.

Wiz below cap IIRC. If so, attractiver.

It would be great, but there is no way for them to match salaries and with their new additions they don’t have the spare cap space to send TE’s, I don’t think.

I live in DC . Coulibaly ain’t it. We’re already waiting on Amen to develope a shot. You can’t play play Amen on the floor with Coulibay and expect a functional(respectable) offense. They have the identical strength and weaknesses. Johnson, George, and Sarr would be what I want from Dc

And trade coaches too. The coach over there in Dc is doing good job developing the kids over there and holding them accountable the professional way. Ime could go win now with that wizard squad.

I'm coming around a little on the Holland, Robinson, and picks package. Not a lot, but a little. Start Sheppard and move Amen back to the 3 and rotate Amen with Holland. Give Amen the keys as a point-forward. Robinson also provides a lot of what we are missing.

    FVV (if healthy) / Smart
    Sheppard / Robinson
    Amen / Holland
    Bari / Eason
    Sengun / Adams or Capela

Alternatively, if FVV is not healthy:

    Sheppard / Smart
    Robinson / Bodgan
    Amen / Holland
    Bari / Eason
    Sengun / Adams or Capela

Is that team a contender? No. But they have a ton of flexibility going forward and could develop into one.

I want KD gone. I never wanted him in the first place. Great talent, goofy person. Has been a "problem" on most teams he has been a part of. I still question that he was "too injured" to play in the playoffs.

I would love for Sarr to be on the rockets. Do a 3 team trade with Sengun Durant going out and Sarr/bad contract(s) and draft picks back.

With say 3 picks back that gives you 7-8 1st round picks in the next 3-4 seasons.

    With players:

    Thompson
    Jabari
    Sheppard
    Eason
    Sarr

Along with ample cap space. Tons of flexibilty to make the team however you want. Trades, Drafts, Cap Space.

No need to trade Sengun to take Sarr. He's the new Myles Turner/JJJ. He can play 4 or get Sengun to play 4. It’s a perfect fit. That said, I don't think the Wizards would trade him for KD. Their superstar is a rookie. Rushing growth was the mistake we made that we're now trying to undo by trading KD

I’ve spent a HUGE amount of time in DC the last three years. Lotsa Nats gear. LOTS & LOTSA ‘Skjns & Commanders gear. Only NBA gear I’ve seen belongs to no one in the DMV or in the DMV for last 20 years.

Where are the Baltimore Bullets when you need them???

We're trading the best players in this trade and we're giving up picks?!?!?!

Actually, if KD wanted The Joker, I’d ‘settle’ for Johnson/Webster/Ninja/FRP + SRP.

It’s good enough. You meant P. Watson here, didn’t you?

I just remembered Durant is from D.C. and his mom lives there. Perfect ending to a historic career.

Will we ever draft in the first round again?

If they end up dealing Durant, I hope they can package FVV at the same time. Really need a legit Scorer on this team.

Somehow three deal with Rockets, NO, and Detriot so we end up with Trey Murphy is something that I would be 100% for to get rid of Durant.

That’s the team I prefer to trade with, the Wizards or the Blazers.
