    "Desperation is a stinky cologne"?

Stearns trying to save his job?

Billionaire NYC Wall Street Guys aren't known for their tolerance of abject embarrassing failure?

Mike Francesa said he's pretty sure it was Cohen move firing Gabriel "Boone taught me everything I know" Mendoza. He based this on Stearns giving FU like "don't ask again" Mendoza stays comment to reporters earlier and now his comments after firing were like way over the top icky love letter. Talking about Mendoza transforming team culture and s**t when Mets have total sh*tshow on field and in the clubhouse. Mendoza did't react to anything during his tenure. Vientos could make multiple lackadaisigal mental errors and start next day and when asked Mendoza would reply they did't need to talk about it and Vientos kinda knows. Like dumber version of soft no accountability player's manager Boone, not quite Espada level still.

Cohen comments were just business like. Move on nothing to see here I have too much NY casino dev. things on my mind to keep Stearns BFF employed forever.

Cubs are beating the Padres 23-3

Bregman is 0-5 with a BB.

What a rally killer he must have been....

Contreras is the first player in Red Sox history to get thrown out of back-to-back games.
