Ok you willing to bet Rockets will get past 1st round this year? You willing to put your money where your mouth is or just another keyboard warrior?

Sure. But glad to see that’s where you set the bar. It’s revealing a ton.

    name the price

I like Tari but he’s 25-years-old and injury prone. I’ll be shocked if he makes it through the next five years without missing significant playing time. How is it that a guy like Quentin Grimes signed for less money on a shorter term deal when he’s much better shooter and would’ve filled a much greater need as a shooting guard, had the Rockets pursued him?

Better than your claims he will pout forever. Wanna take a bet and put your money where your mouth is or you just yet another keyboard warrior?

I would have given an A++ if we had gotten Grimes on the Tari deal. Something tells me he wanted to play in LA.

True but I feel like it's a bad sign when injury prone guys take these kinds of deals, it suggests they don't have that much faith in staying healthy.

Good. 100 USD goes to the tipjar. Thats the bar I set? No thats the bar you set since you said this team wont get past first round.

You are the one who said it but Im the one that set the bar? Crazy. You are right this reveals a ton about you.

Tempting to say plug in a team option after the 3rd year BUT he could play really well and then be a butthead and try to have us decline the option.

Locked in for 16 million. Even if he is hurt, won't be too impactful. Low cap number. A+ deal. It is on him to come in and be mature. I have a decent feeling about his long term health.

Defense and rebounding are also part of the game. Plus the "much better" shooter shot 33% from 3 last season and is only a little better for their careers. I agree he is a better shooter, but this isn't Steph Curry v Ben Simmons.

He's also on his 5th team in 4 seasons now, so clearly teams that actually have him haven't been too impressed.

Uhhh I said they haven’t to date which is a fact. I would never place the bar at “winning a playoff series”. That’s Sacramento kings level of satisfaction

in fact you can reread my post above and it clearly says so. I’ll do any bet, but clearly you don’t have enough faith this turd can even make it past the 2nd.

I’ll do your 100$ for the 1st round but if you wanna put your money where your mouth is $300 for making it past the second round instead. We can up the amount too but I have a feeling you won’t bite

you don’t believe in this product you are working so hard to defend.

Again I’m confident enough they won’t even win 1 but either works for me

I did see the post. I'm ready for him (and our fans) to move on and find more positivity. There's no use in him sulking or letting past negotiations cast a cloud over his preparation and play. Mature adults find a way to overcome personal slight.

Was really hoping we’d move on from Tari. Oh well, at least it wasn’t too expensive.
