My understanding is that we don't have access to our full MLE because we have to preserve apron space to match a potential offer to Tari. I'm not saying we should've spent our full MLE on Grimes, but it would've been nice to explore the possibility of using that slot on someone who can shoot instead of being wedded to Tari, who will likely be unhappy with whatever contract he ends up with.
This. Need 1-2 guys who can create. Don’t have to be amazing at it, but competent. Though I prefer amazing.
