    I just don’t think KD, JB and Amen is a contending team. I don’t like JB’s contract and I don’t think he’s the ideal fit with Amen. I prefer a soft reset. But Sengun, a couple bad contracts and a 1st is definitely good value for JB.

    I wouldn't mind having JB if we didn't have KD. Having the 2 most emotionally unstable superstars won't end well.

    I don't know if i like the deal but it definitely would fit the mold of a buy low.

    Is Booker or Jaylen Brown better at a max?

    Those guys are a lot closer to worth a max than say a Trae Young or a Anthony Davis but they definitely are in the tier of players I wouldn't feel comfortable paying the max.

    They need to internally be honest and decide if they want to win now or they want to win later and possibly win more.

    It isn’t something they need to tell the fans but they have to have a clear goal and I don’t think they do based on what is said and what they do when it comes to trades and signings.

    It is possible that the owner and organization is comfortable just being competitive ever year and that is the real goal more than winning a title. If that is the case then they can be cautious and make moves that are geared loosely for the now but have less risk and less payoff.

    It seems to me that the organization doesn’t have one focus and doesn’t know whether it wants to sacrifice the future for the now or wants to build for 3-4 years away.

    Luck plays a part in all of this - so perhaps the Rockets will luck into a top 50 all time player in the draft or sign someone like Steve Nash or Brunson that becomes a star after years in the league. What I do know is having a unified culture and goal is a better bet than counting on luck - which it feels like the Rockets are relying on sometimes.

    Stone and Udoka are not stupid people- they just seem to lack focus and a coherent vision.

    Would not be thrilled to see Sengun traded, but JB would clearly be an upgrade for the overall team on offense. The team was insanely dependent on KD to score.

    He doesn’t talk about it but I have to assume he has some health issues. Health issues that are the reason he might not be able to lose weight.

    Exactly. Not lost on me that Stone can only make trades with teams that are essentially at his mercy (Nets and Suns) with draft picks.

    Fck his **** of a coaching legacy lol. Absolutely no respect for him or any of his failures from the past, I probably had more respect in his bench riding nba tenure he has zero skill he cant hoop cant coach , what can I say Ron, the guy’s a loser

    I wont get my hopes up. It has to be for KD. I dont see the Celtics wanting anyone else but Amen and thats not happening.

    I will give them one more year, they should not go all in, see where the 2027 picks land.. if nets and suns picks are #1 and #2 you draft the BPA for both picks and you commit to resetting the timeline and build around those young players

    Brown and Durant would not get along I fear. You can dream I guess but Brown doesnt take **** and Durant is the type of **** one wouldnt take.

    You’re missing Amen and have Adams going out and still on your roster. Love the effort though.

    I’d like to see some variation of this with Sengun, FVV, and DFS out and Smartt, Turner, JB in. I’m sure Smart was promised to start.
