Ime isn't playing Reed over Smart lol. This is a clear upgrade over Sheppard in his eyes.

I read the Rockets were the only team to offer multi-years.It's supposed to be 3 years at 7 million a year.

No mystery - we're willing to pay him more, and Ime will guarantee him at least 20 mpg if not more.

If we have to attach a 2nd round pick to move DFS just to sign Marcus Smart, then Stone & Ime will officially pass O'Brien & Easterby as the two biggest dolts in Houston sports history.

It's a done deal, Ime is the only coach in the NBA dumb enough to actually WANT to play Marcus Smart 30 minutes a game now and he knows it. He'll get to rob the Rockets for 3 years AND get to play all the minutes he wants despite being absolutely terrible.

Bingo. In LA they're not satisfied with getting eliminated in the 2nd round. Here in Houston all Smart will need to provide is "leadership" and "toughness". He can even do it from the bench like Fred last season.

Who needs shooting? Give me another “gritty Ime type” player who can’t shoot the basketball or dribble for the full mid level.

Unfortunately Ime Udoka is a 65 IQ simpleton that will DEFINITELY try to play him as much as possible despite the fact that he was a complete net negative last season and hasn't been a quality player in 5 years...and wasn't all that good overall even then.

He's quite literally worse than Okogie and on par with Aaron Holiday.

Ive defended Stone because overall, given what hes had to work with I think hes done a decent job. All GMs miss on guys and despite his misses hes drafted some good players even though the ping pong balls havent always been kind.

But the way he's letting Ime ruin this team is a fireable offense. And if he's the driving force behind these moves and decisions thats even worse.

I hope Ime and Stone is at least "trying" to win but I guess that ship has sailed. We're stuck in mediocrity until these 2 are gone

I think the problem is that Stone has bought in to con man Ime's BS because he knows he has no other choice. He's not going to survive another coach being fired, so he needs Ime to turn things around despite the fact that I'm sure he knows there's no way that's going to happen.

So he's going to go out and get Ime type players.....AKA terrible players and just hope things work out.
