I think we can all agree Diaz is a lost cause.

I turned to my friend and told him this dumbass on a 3-2 count is gonna swing at something way out of the strike zone either outside or low. Well it ended up being both. Even worse.

So you could take a walk and help the team put a man in scoring position in a tie ball game in the 9th. Or you can be a total dumbass.

He chose the latter.

 

Watching Yanier swing at two balls back to back against a pitcher whose pitching tunnel didn’t include anything that could catch you looking while starting a foot off the plate is the biggest reason he will never be a good hitter.
