My dark horse ending for this still is a scenario where Trump unleashes nuclear weapons.

I think nothing would stroke his flaling, bruised ego quite so much as unleashing the sun on brown people.

Deep in my gut, I strongly suspect he finds a way to do it in a moment of deep ego injury. Maybe after the midterms when he is impeached again. I logically don't know how he finagles it, but I see the deep sucking emotional black hole in his chest and how unleashing that kind of display of (someone else's) "power" might soothe the cognative dissonance of his perpetual ongoing professional failures for a few minutes.

I can almost feel how much that sort of display of rage and destruction must be calling to him. Perpetually humiliating a malignant narciscist is not the safest course of action for the Iranians. If you can't be loved, make sure you are feared.

 

By announcing it , this means they’ve put it together. You don’t announce something like this that would make you a huge target otherwise

We’re sending freaking Jared Kushner and some slob caked in eyeliner in JD vance to try and hammer out a deal. Tf do any of them know about diplomacy or how to navigate this situation? They’re incompetent, unqualified, and in way over their head.

 

Jared Kushner’s primary concern is probably how he can find a way to further enrich himself and his family as well as further his business interests along with the interests of other Trump donors.
