    The Thunder and Spurs both did great things in this draft.

    I hate them.

    Needless to say, great move for Detroit, exploiting OKC's need to dump him....while getting some of the shooting they desperately need.

    If OKC didn't want to sell to HOU, could HOU buy Isiah Joe (2nd hand) off of DET.

    So we need shooting OKC can't pay all their players, and we don't step up for someone that could really help us?

    WTF Stone, seriously.

    I don't think the Thunder were going to trade him to us anyways. They can literally get 2nd round picks from multiple teams in the East. Sam is not slow like some of our staff.

    Spurs games made it clear despite the injuries that they needed a clear 2nd Postseason Option.

    Jaydub, Chet and Mitchell sort of were that but not consistently enough.

    Joe did nothing much to convince them otherwise sadly in the Playoffs.

    To warrant paying maximum tax and penalties in repeater tax one day, to provide more time to find more staples and consistent scorers.

    @Clutch
    After the trade is executed, Joe is eligible to be immediately traded again. Let's say DET then trades Joe to another team for a FRP... how much would other GMs frown upon this?

    Can you imagine if DET traded Joe back to a contender in the West? Or even worse for OKC, traded to SA? Presti would be pissed.

    I wonder if there's some general rule of etiquette amongst GMs for how long to hold a player before flipping them...?
