"Charlottesville" was a lie, funded by liberal SPLC, who also paid the KKK

What else was faked by the Democrat media to trick their gullible voters and pursue power? Democrats simply are willing to lie repeatedly and sustain the lies for years. Evil people, preying on society’s least intelligent (their rank and file supporters).

What is your interpretation of that graph, TJ?

Because it should be pretty obvious why the term white supremacist was not used in the NYT, WSJ, LAT, and WAPO prior to 2017 relative to after 2017. And it's not because of "the Democrats".

The obvious interpretation is that the white supremacy super threat was purposefully hyped and embellished by the media in a coordinated effort to achieve liberal social and political objectives. Just like the SPLC faked the Charlottesville hate rally.

    Close.

    What is relative frequency.

There were seven major mass casualty events in the US perpetrated by self reported White Nationalists between 2015 and 2020, with your own subject line being one of them. 2015 coincided with the migrant crises as refugees from Syria and other war torn middle eastern countries flooded into the west. We have witnessed global demographic shifts during the 2010s where predominantly white only communities in the US are now white majority with new immigrant groups.
The mass casualty events were perpetrated by individuals who wrote white nationalist anti-immigrant manifestos.

The reason why the relative frequency went up is because the events started happening in 2015. It would be like saying it is a conspiracy there is no reporting about iPhones before 2007.

The news reports the news, and if it bleeds it leads. White Nationalism was a real trend in the late 2010s and it both bled and led. If it was a one off topic, it would've been a flash in the pan and faded like almost every other news story. But it had lasting impact, and it lead to seismic geopolitical changes: a globalization of white nationalism, a far reaching rejection of multiculturalism, and the decline of globalization.

False, there was no increase in events. At all. It’s always difficult for people to admit they were deceived. But doing so brings learning and advancement.

LOL How did that Iran war turn out? I recently saw where a prominent conservative economist said it cost each American family $1,000 so far.

How about that UFC fight huh? That was great. I see the MAGA fair isn’t doing too well. I guess a lot of Americans are getting sick of distractions.

Anyway- I saw the new Air Force #1 is ready to go - so we have that.

Tucker Carlson will be assassinated soon I’m sure and Hannity is starting to look like Mrs. Doubtfire.

    Keep fighting the fight brother.

I am referring to these events:

2019 El Paso Walmart shooting El Paso, Texas
2018 Pittsburgh synagogue shooting Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
2017 Car-ramming attack into counter-protesters at the white nationalist Unite the Right rally Charlottesville, Virginia
2015 Shooting at a showing of the film Trainwreck Lafayette, Louisiana
2015 Planned Parenthood shooting Colorado Springs, Colorado
2015 Charleston church shooting at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church Charleston, South Carolina

These were major news stories and carried the narrative.

That is a shockingly low number of events, thereby proving my point precisely! You just listed 0.00012% of violent crimes committed during that time span. Thats the outbreak worthy of the overwhelming media attention? LOL, my point has just been made — by you!

On one hand, you're absolutely right these are just noise in the engulfing sea of violence that exists in the US. We have that thread about another day another mass shooting.
But on the other, because these acts were premeditated against groups who were targeted because they are different (minorities), that instantly makes it attention grabbing. These are not supposed to happened. And these events have all but stopped and the attention has moved onto other more exciting and shinier objects (war, inflation, immigration enforcement).

Shiny things dominate the news cycle. It's not liberal or conservative thing, it's how do I as a news executive publish the right stories to sell ads.

Not to derail your thread, but Islamic terrorism was a huge topic of conversation in the 2000s and 2010s and it has largely fallen off for the same reason. The number of Islamic terrorist attacks peaked in 2014. It's why anti-Islam populism does not have the same attention grabbing power as it did in 2016.
