KD is 3rd team all NBA and an all star. Also one of the most efficient players in the league. The only thing Lamelo has in common with KD is both played 70 games this year, just the 2nd time in Lamelos career lol

The power forward position doesn't matter anymore. The Knicks and Spurs made the Finals without having one. Jaden McDaniels is bigger than any non-power forward on those teams. That's the main thing I see with this trade.

The Wolves are gambling in an effort to keep Anthony Edwards long-term. They don't want to lose him like the Bucks lost Giannis, but they're likely losing him just like the Bucks lost Giannis. At least they have a first-round pick of some sort every year except 2027, 2031, and 2033. That's better than the Bucks after they made their desperation trades.

The Wolves are better. That's all that matters. We'll see how much better and if that's enough for Edwards to stay. Probably won't be. Stars like him aren't written to stay in cities like Minnesota.
