Hornets LaMelo Ball TRADED to Timberwolves FOR Naz Reid & 1 FRP & 3 SRP

Timberwolves had to do something but that's a pretty high cost. They've pretty much traded away their entire PF rotation. At least they didn't have to give up Jaden McDaniels I guess.

The Wolves just traded the most underrated player in the league for the most overrated one. This feels like our Westbrook trade to me.

 

Jabari and picks could have got it done. Rockets however value Jabari as a top 3 nba player.

 

There goes another western conference team better than the rockets

It seems like most Hornets fans are upset with this trade. I guess they were really just content with running it back and consistently being mediocre. Low expectations I guess but they eventually were having to go in a direction. They need to get younger because that team as constructed wasn't going anywhere.

 

I feel you. But he is literally what the team has been missing. 6'7 PG with handles & can shoot & find open guys. Hell Reeds defense is wayyy worse & he got minutes.
Immature I feel like Ime & having vets like Steve & Fred would have helped that. Injury concerns are valid

 

Ball and Josh Green for Reid, 1 FRP, 3 FRP swaps (unlikely to swap unless Minn made a huge mistake), and 3 SRPs.

Ball is not one of my favorite players. Hate the type of player, but he's one of the best at his type.

Naz Reid. I love that type of player, but he's not been as effective as it seems he should be.

I do not like the Ball and Ayo fit. I'm guessing Minnesota now has the worst draft capital in the NBA. I count 6 rotation players on the Wolves. I see room for a TP-MLE this year. Gobert has been declining. This could be great for the Wolves the next year or 2. This could also be a spectacular disaster.

Hornets. I don't like watching the East. I could see with Naz Reid that the Hornets may be unstoppable offensively for the East. I could also see the Hornets crumbling as they looked good 1-3 last season with Ball.
