    They traded up to get Bruce Thornton when Veesar, Evans and Meleek Thomas were still on the board? WTF. Another 6 foot tall guard. I hope he's better than I suspect a tiny guard to be (and yeah, I know he's thick. 225 at 6 ft is kinda nuts).

    We look at the size issue in the backcourt and they draft a 6' combo guard? We already have VanVleet.

    I guess something is special about him.

    I would have preferred Evans and hope he turns into our Jaden McDaniels in the future. There's just such a limited upside with 6 foot guards. You basically gotta be an elite shooter like Curry or be anomalies like FVV to succeed.

    Size wasn't much of an issue for our backcourt of Amen and Tari last season. It was everything else.

    Yes, easily.

    Thornton plays defense, passes, and is 220 pounds. Those guys are Bones Hyland types, Bruce is a potential FVV replacement if everything goes perfect

    Thanks for this feedback. I don't watch college ball and have never even heard of this guy despite obsessively listing to the Game Theory and No Ceilings podcasts.
