Sengun/DFS/Capela for brown straight up is something that I would do. Start Smith at the 5 if ab absolutely needed, but I am sure we could acquire a stretch five. For all I care Adam’s can start depending on the matchup.

    Smith/Adams
    Eason
    Durant/Okogie
    Brown/Reed
    Amen/FVV

I think alot of people underestimate Brown
He kept the Celtics afloat without Tatum

Last year we had Fred and Dillon. Again, we tanked our way to a collection of role players. If you move KD for another alpha or two gammas, it won't change that fact or our ceiling.

I don't think we have the pieces to pull off a Brown trade without a 3rd team. Double Boston would be intersted in Sengun or Dickerson as a center piece for Brown.

Sengun needs to be part of it, I throw in DFS, try to get a 3rd team involve and i would keep both 2027 picks if this blows up and fail, if stone can somehow keep both 2027 picks he has pulled off a masterfully job.

they need to make a decision on sengun. I don’t see why they think this tandem would work.

They need to make a decision but not now. Sengun is starting to work on his 3s. He really only started last summer give the dude some time.

"LOL" if you want, but it isn't funny. There are lots of poorly run teams that overvalue their own young players and try to patch the holes with veterans. A lot of teams struggle for years to reach the playoffs much less with a series. Drafting a bunch of lottery picks in a row doesn't guarantee success and the Rockets aren't guaranteed anything. Whether it's Fred & Dillon, KD, or Jaylen Brown, you're just putting a veneer over a rotten core. We need a complete reset.

The hope would be Amen ascends into a top 20 ish player this year. Maybe 15.

Durant remains about as efficient as he has been, but we are able to arrest him a lot more and make things easier on him. He slightly increases his defensive productivity and creates better spacing.

brown maintains the level of play that he showed early in the year and that between him, Kevin and Amen you have a nice little 3 man grouping of 1B type players. As far as groups of 3, I think that is competitive with most other ones in the NBA.

Then you have Smith/Eason/Adams/FVV as players that should be above average role players and three of those guys should be above average from three point land and all of them should be average to better on the defensive end

Reed is a microwave scorer, and a player that still has a ton of potential slots in off the bench most likely, and has the green light to shoot.

That is 8 players. I think you want one more athletic small forward/power forward type that can create their own shot.. maybe even someone that can post up in a little bits. Bring back Okogie who is clearly a positive inside of the rotation and an above average defender. Start Smith at center unless the matchup requires that it is Adams.

Smith/Adams/Signed 3rd big that can shoot a bit
    Eason
    Durant/Okogie
    Brown/Reed
    Thompson/FVV

Again your post ignores all of last year just to glaze Durant. It's like all Durant fans. Suns fans were like oh no we're losing durant we wont even make the play in lol When I told them they would likely be better with Dillion people like you laughed at me. Its because you overrate KD.

Take a read of what Google AI gave to make a KD-for-Jaylen Brown trade work.

Phoenix Sun's 2027, 2029 FRPs are NOT worth this. Neither is Jabari.

The “I throw in DFS” line is hysterical.

Going from Brown to Sengun is a significant downgrade. I don’t see how Stone can convince Stevens to do that without completely emptying the chest. Even then, that still might not be enough.
