Shove does not equal stab through the chest and into the heart. Heinous.

    Shoulda got more time.

If they fought, had injuries, then Metcalf shot Anthony, would that be heinous ??

    @Tomstro

Black people were stripped of everything including any connection to African culture. We don't know where we are from outside of the whole continent.

The things created for us through oppression are all we have

I'm just saying a black woman has every right to be Miss America an is not excluded from entry

I white woman is not allowed to enter the Miss Black America pageant.

Explain to me why that is?
    Seem exclusionary to me.
There have been 9 black women that have won the Miss America pageant.

    You mileage may very.

The black community will always have it worst in America. There's plenty opportunity, but the systematic landscape even before welfare would always equal some degree of hindrance. The community was doing well and living decently before integration, but with America's plan for single-mother homes and black folks being the guinea pig for every nefarious experiment, there will always be a limit for progression.

Only solution to possibly rebuild is stop allowing fatherless homes, but America wants women to have all/most power during interpersonal activity with men.

Yea I think Zimmerman was rightly acquitted of murder.

But that situation was completely different. Had Trayvon just pushed Zimmerman, instead of relentlessly and repeatedly beating on the man, I would’ve sided with him.

All Karmelo had to do was leave.

I grew up in a rough place. I was pushed plenty of times. I was jumped a couple of times. I never thought to stab someone. None of us did. Karmelo egged that **** on and did what he went there to do.

His parents should go to jail too

I disagree. It’s been a long time since American citizens were racially oppressed in this country. Black people of today have so much more than oppression stories of the past. They have everything I have. Some white people have no idea where they are from either. They are from America. I have goofy relatives who think they are more Irish than American. They’ve been to kiss the blarney stone once and they think they are just so Irish. “I drink like an Irishman” “I fight like an Irishman”. “I have an Irish temper”. “I’m so Irish blah blah blah”.

It’s all bullshit. You’re American. People just want to belong to an institution, a fraternity, an identity. A sense of belonging. Well, America is where we belong.

My Greek side does the same thing, although with more subtlety.

    It’s silly.

    you can have it

Okay, exaggerations and contradictions. For one, you previously said you had, "friends who were straight up criminals". So nobody stabbed, they just did other straight up criminal activity. And not only did none of those criminals stab anyone, they never even "thought" about it.

One of the problems is too many black folks think it's always about race, and too many whites think it never is.

Wasn't Zimmerman following Trayvon ??..... as if somebody who is following someone, can't simply stop following. Zimmerman was trapped following Trayvon, but Anthony was not trapped at all while half way surrounded by people. There's no way Zimmerman or Anthony consider their same actions if they had no weapon.

I can see how the situations could be different, but saying "completely different" is completely hyperbole. People do less time for similar crimes. If you want to argue all sentences should be longer, cool, but based on current outcomes, 35 years is too much. Now, had Metcalf not pushed Anthony, first degree would be a more justifiable option.

Actually none of my criminal friends were violent types. There were a few stabbings in my area. One was this punk ass white kid who got stabbed and killed by some black guy from Oxon Hill at a party. That kid was bad news always starting **** and he died because of it. Still, it was brutal and very sad. Then there was the QB of my high school football team. He brutally stabbed a kid I knew pretty well like 30 or 40 times over a girl (both white boys) This happened the year after I graduated. Rage kill. So tragic. That guy is still in prison today. One guy I grew up with was carjacked with his girlfriend by a gang of black dudes. They were both shot and killed. There is a dateline episode on that one. They are all still in prison (happened in 2001). But yeah I had some wild friends, just not the violent crime type. It is not uncommon for someone to be a non violent criminal. Plenty of drug dealers and thieves aren’t violent. Those violent criminal types were there, but I had sense enough to stay away from them.

The Zimmerman case is completely different from the karmelo case. Karmelo wasn’t in fear for his life. It was determined in court that Zimmerman was. Zimmerman was also beaten badly and Karmelo just got pushed and could’ve left. So much is different actually between those two cases.

Yep... people on both sides show constant bias. It's one of those funny and sad situations happening at once every time.

I (Caucasian) threw up on an Indian reservation in a town of about 1000 people. 300 were White and the rest were Native American.

    1. Native Americans got treated way worse than African-Americans. To this day, Native Americans are given nominal amounts of money to not leave the reservation which essentially kills their ability to dream. They get free stuff, but looking past another life is not common.
    2. There is a severe Lack of representation for these people politically.
    3. in some cases, many of their dialects don’t even exist anymore, and most of their culture has been disintegrated.
    4. Although I was assaulted a couple times because I was a minority, I feel like these people were way less sensitive about what was done to them than a lot of immigrants.
    5. My Irish ancestors were slaves, purchased by a German owner And at some point they were released. I’m not sure if this is before or after coming to Texas. I believe it to be right before, With the condition that we work for free in the United States for a few years before freedom. Our genealogy is hazy here.

The point being, I am currently disgusted by the American political situation, but it was probably Favorable to be born in America. I believe that the country can get back to what it once was or at least closer.

If someone He just conquered most of Africa and then set up reservations. There, I am not sure those folks would be better off. Inside of all of this racial controversy is the fact that this isn’t the worst place ever. We just need to get past this stretch of troubling times.

How early Americans treated African-Americans was deplorable. No doubt about that.

People need to respect the court of law. This breh killed someone and the jury found him guilty.
this isn’t trying to figure out if UFOs and aliens are real.
    It’s pretty damn easy.

the race hustlers will continue to be the race hustlers breh
This is because they have no skill.
Michael Jackson was found innocent in a court of law. He said it didn’t matter if you are black or white . Breh was a good parent just like his dad , kept his kids out of trouble and made them work for a living

Anyone who thinks Zimmerman and Anthony are "completely different" has some definite racial bias going on, regardless of their race.

It's hilarious watching someone condemn other people while doing the exact thing he's criticizing.
