    Direction and performances are all solid but the script from Mr. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, David Koepp. is just hackneyed, nearly all the characters are thinly written along with plot holes aplenty, watchable but forgettable.....

    Black Bag was solid, but he hasn't written a great movie since Panic Room, 24 years ago.

    Fun Fact: he also wrote the Houston Movie Classic "I Come in Peace"

    Wife wanted to go see it tonight so off we went.

    It was weird. It was like those fake action movie trailers that ‘reveal’ themselves as just a car commercial in the end. If you like 90’s big budget over the top action, this is for you. It was almost like Spielberg was trying to emulate himself from 30+ years ago.

    I would say I agree that he’s lost his touch. The ending was better than expected, though.

    Edit- looks like the writer, David Koepp, made his fame in the 90’s with over the top action movies. Explains a lot.
