Unless last night's game against the Mavs was a grand illusion it put a whole new light on the Rockets for me.

I have been waiting for them to saddle up to TMac and go. I was becoming a JVG doubter thinking he was going to waste TMac in that total sharing system. And add to that the whole problem of the players being too focused on not making mistakes.

Hopefully that is all changing, at least the game against Dallas was a completely welcome change of attack for the team.

From the beginning I felt if we ran the game through TMac (1) and Yao (2) they would carry us and get the other guys looks.

I believe absolutely if we keep playing like that and with that determination and effort we will start winning.

That was the team I have been waiting for.

To take the Mavs (at home) to overtime, and play well doing it was beautiful.

If this sticks, TMac stays determined to be the man, Yao keeps battling and JVG doesn't keep them playing on egg shells we will be on our way.

The nucleus of Yao/TMac is worth it all again, I saw it last night. I am willing to be patient, wait for the next pieces over the next 1-2 seasons.

Yes, wait. We are a couple pieces away from running for the ring.

For the first time this season win or lose I saw heart, determination and I saw Yao and Tmac play their guts out to carry us to a win. I believe if Yao and TMac can hang on to the same intensity they will be the silent leaders and the whole team will raise the game.

I think the Rockets found their leader last night. - Tracy McGrady.

The man had the fire in his eyes.

T-Mac and everyone else will be great every night if we simply get rid of Van Grumpy.

Right now the team is just doing things the hard way.

After the second game of the season I could see in order for us to be effective we would have to run the ball through T-Mac. I posted that the offense needs to run through T-Mac 90% of the time. Then lo and behold the next day JVG does exactly that and the Rockets record one of their better victories of the year against the Grizllies. Even though I am not a JVG fan I was still happy that he was smart enough to finally get it and that he would continue to run the team this way.

Boy was I wrong. That was basically the last time we saw the T-mac show until last night. And I don't understand why? JVG cannot be that stupid, can he be? Actually stupid is not the best word to describe him but stubborn fits JVG to a T. Van Dummy was so set on using his distribute the ball offense that he destroyed his best 2 weapons. He was set on proving that the game is not won by star players but rather it is won by star coaching (specifically him) that he could care less if he destroyed Yao and TMac in the process. Of course now when he is about to be canned he finally abandons his stupid philosophy. Please do not give him credit for being Stupid and Stubborn. He doesn't deserve it. Van Dummy is acting out of desperation and not intelligence. This is how the offense should have come out of the gate only not excluding Yao as much.

He has lost the confidence of his players and their desire to win for him. That will not change. He coaches by force, "do this or else your on the bench, or else you or on IR or else you are traded or else you are kicked off the team. The players or no longer buying that line of BS. Their response is do it then but I don't want to hear your crap anymore. They may not actually want to be traded. But what they really want is for JVG to disappear vanish. To get the f#$k out of dodge. Hitler Van Dummy must be executed for this team to survive. Let's hope Les realizes that before this season is destroyed.
