recently in nz, our government put out a bill to legally classify sex into bio male and female. We are having protests in various cities by Trans/cis (not sure what their gender identity is, im not good at guessing it either) started protesting etc. Thought this whole lgbt debate was over, but **** it came back roaring. Not sure how legally assigning your birth/bio sex is wrong? how is that infringing on their rights? people can identify as anything they want, but legally, things must be clear cut right? you are eight born as a man or a women. how is that so hard to comprehend? Im 42 years old, but feel young as ****, i do **** that's extremely childish for my age, i can identify as a 20-year-old, but i can't expect the gov to ignore my bio age right? Im scared to ask those around me cause Ive been down that path and ended up offending a bunch of people for even raising the question. Please someone explain to me why this is an issue?

Yeah, the protests here are not even that, its legally not allowing govt records to be classifying male/female....which is ****en confusing for me
