Would I trade Amen for Kingston? No - but there are 4-5 very talented point/combo guards in this draft and there is a chance that may push Kingston down into the 8-12 area of the draft where it may be worth the Rockets making a move to get Kingston. I am not at all concerned about Kingston’s size long term as a defender. He is an excellent defender that works hard and is tough. I expect him to be very strong defensively. He is a good long term prospect as a shooter, and already is a good mid range shooter. He isn’t going to ever be a 25 point a game scorer, but can hit shots, finish and score in transition. He also is a good passer. Unless he gets better one on one, he won’t ever be a superstar but he can certainly become a starter for a decade that makes some all defensive teams and some all star nods.
