Curious, wasn't there another other Texas Tech QB similar traits to that? One that many teams passed on (including the Texans).

True, but Mahomes was very accurate. Difference is that he needed to work on reading defenses due to the Air Raid offense he played in.

Honestly it depended on the season. There’s a ton of good QB prospects. I expected it to be sorted during the year.
In terms of talent, he’s a top 3 QB next year.
    Realistically 5-6 currently.
But there could be 5-7 QBs in the first round next year

You have Sorsby ranked much higher than I do and if a team like the Cards who need a QB badly think he's the guy you think he is then they should give up a 1st for him even if they end up with the 1st pick in the 2027 draft because he's a franchise QB IYO.

I would take Sorsby over someone like Sayin or Carr personally.

    Leavitt is my personal favorite

I think he has first round talent. But I wouldn’t bid a first on him.
    A 2 for sure.
More from a hedge standpoint than anything

Sorsby was in the mix of QBs who are fringe 1st rounders who could vault up if they have a good year(Leavitt, Mestemaker, Carr). I would’ve bet(no pun intended) on Sorsby and Leavitt(geaux tigers)

Today, I would have Dante Moore well above him(he’s my QB1 for next draft), Sellers has Josh Allen upside and I would draft above him, I prob take Leavitt and Carr right now over him, but I take Sorsby over Mestemaker. I personally think Arch is the most overrated prospect coming out.

Either way, it’s a deep pool of good QB prospects and Sorsby was right in the mix.

I’m not a fan of Moore, I see too much CJ in him.
    Maybe he’s not.
Sellers is a huge upside pick too.

I think Arch is overrated, but….he has the highest upside in the draft imo. Specially with that Manning pedigree and athleticism.

Leavitt is my favorite QB prospect. Accuracy, athleticism, production.

Moore looks significantly better than Nix running the Oregon offense, I think he’s a better prospect than CJ was. Sellers just screams Josh Allen, if he can put it all together.

Leavitt will benefit from being on the National Champion LSU Tigers and have a ton of exposure(also has one of the more underrated prospects in Trey’dez Green). Honestly reminds me of a smaller Burrow with more athleticism.

Just puts more pressure on CJ to perform, there are ample options to replace him(draft a QB…or hope the Bengals collapse)

Supposedly Rick Smith tried to trade up for Mahomes but the Chiefs jumped them. Had to settle for DW4
