I didn’t say Iran or the world would be better. Just Iran and Iranians will be a lot richer.

This is what Trump's version of "Winning!" looks like.

So where are all these A-holes that said there wasn't 400 billion payout now.

I'm still glad it's over but we got raped. We could have given every person in the United States one thousand dollars.

Paragraph 7 is literally insane. They are removing sanctions on Iranian oil before any discussions on their nuclear capabilities. They are tying themselves behind the back before negotiations even happen. The 60 day period they have to negotiate on nuclear issues doesn't even start till after they lift sanctions.

The incompetence is just mind blowing. It's unilaterally surrendering

It's $300+ billion for reconstruction. The sanctions relief is probably in the hundreds of billions as well. And Iran has stated it will hold onto the option to apply a fee for passage.

We can all hope that Iran moderates. Because... essentially, that's what the administration has done here... elevate Iran's power, and they are now an economic and political player on the world stage.

That's the cost of reopening the strait. This will very likely end up with a JCPOA-lite, except much more expensive (and of course deadly).

This was a dead end. Prolonging this would just cost more with the same outcome.

Oh it's gonna make our "good friends" in Saudi and Israel really happy. Another war is inevitable.

When you factor in the cost of war (weapons, damage to our bases/equipment/etc), the gas hike and its inflation, the real number is double to triple that number, if not more, right?

And then we lost over a dozen soldiers, killed thousands of innocent Iranian civilians, including 150 school girls.

    Just all around disgusting.

At the end of the day, Trump does what he knows best. Finance. Building. Except this is rebuilding Iran with finance from the US and regional powers. And yes, you can bet there are going to be beautiful "Trump" towers and golf courses.
