Its hard to get up for the Rockets picking 39th and 53rd. If they could walk away with Sharpe and Trevon Brazile I would be pumped. I could see both of those guys eventually as rotation pieces after a little seasoning on RGV. Brazile needs to cultivate some mass but coul be a bizaro Sengun. Sharpe could be a EG type (Rockets version, not Clips). Both guys are role players but we are dealing with low picks.

I don’t know if it’s possible to S/T Tari on draft day along with the 2 second round picks to get into the 1st round. I’m guessing Stone and Ime might want to do this.

This might be a move (a very weak one) to avoid Utah and Memphis.

Can't blame him and his handlers for trying, but it does nothing. If the Wizards take AJ Dybantsa, Peterson is going to Utah.

I can understand not wanting to be in Utah as a place, but they are well-positioned to get a lot better very quickly, and they do have room in their rotation for a shooting guard. So from a basketball perspective, I think Peterson is being kind of silly here.

Boozer is still the best prospect in this draft class though IMO and I think Washington and Utah are setting themselves up to look foolish.

A realistic guy I'd like to get in for is Ebuka Okorie. We need a SG and he's looking like he might end up the steal of the draft.

I am surprised Trevon Brazile does not get much attention. I think his defense is overrated, but would be a good player in transition if you want to pick up the pace. I read that Ben Humrichous had a visit with the rockets. I would be fine with that pick as well.

Ace Bailey didn't work out for Utah last year because he felt he deserved to go higher than their pick (same with Peterson), and they took him anyway.

I view Brazile as a backup 5 more than as a 4. As a 5 he can be a play finisher so he his lack of handle isnt as big of a problem. He's slight but in todays NBA thats not the problem it was back in the day. His length and verticality along with a good outside shot (again for a 5) would I think fit weel on the Rockets coming in for Sengun for 15 minutes a night. He would probably spend most of next season at RGV but Id like that pick.
