I couldn't care less about soccer, but I feel sorry for those soccer fans who traveled from all over to watch their teams play in Houston. What a miserable experience it will be this week with this weather.
It will be fine. They game is indoors and I am sure the rain will keep the walk to stadium bearable. They invented the Umbrella in Europe.
I wasn't speaking of the actual game, but more of the outdoor vendors and activities. Light rain and umbrellas is one thing, but downpours and lightning like forecasted would s*ck for those staying a few days and spending thousands.

France is the heavy favorite for most but I'm not sold on a Rabiot/Tchouameni midfield, Hernandez on left back or Maignan in goal. The offense is enviable though, even the bench players.

France just wore them down, then wore them out. Exact opposite of what Spain couldn't do vs Cape Verde. Senegal never really looked the same after that wide open (like 2/3 of the goal wide open) shot from 10m was sailed over the bar
Vamos los Iraqis! I will add, Telemundo's cameramen/producers do a much better job during breaks in action of showing important "action" in the stands than the Fox guys do.

I am glad the visitors really like our country. It is a great and very diverse place. The media has really given us a bad rap.
