Keep an eye on Wemby's health next season too. He just played more basketball in a season than he ever has before, and the last two playoff series were a very heavy minutes load.

What's really laughable is how both guys performed in game 5. Castle's mind never showed up because his head wasn't screwed on. He's lucky everyone will focus their wrath and criticism on Fox instead of him. Victor played nervous and tentative. That free-stroking, uncontestable jumper was nowhere to be found because he was a bundle of nerves.

Unfortunately for us Rockets fans, the Spurs will be fine. Victor's gonna grow up and mature, and while Dylan Harper showed near the end he doesn't yet have nerves of steel, he's pretty close.

Wemby passing the ball off Castle's back and bricking two consecutive free throws to cap off the biggest collapse in NBA Finals history will love on forever. Never Forget.

Legends just have it in them. Wemby is another Harden.

Knicks showed the formula to beat Wemby on defense you need big strong bigs that will lean on him and make him work and tire him out, that affects his shooting.

On offense you need a 5 out team that will all spot up on 3s and draw Wemby out so he cant camp in the paint and bother all the shots. I said it before when the trade happened that Knicks fleeced the Wolves and Kat was the 2nd biggest reason Knicks won a ring.

Funny how fast the overly-online narrative around Wemby changed from "savior / face of the NBA" to "punk-ass b*tch" over the course of a single series

Don't know what that says more about, how much of a choke job he just pulled off, or the internet being stupid and overreacting to everything both positive and negative. Probably some of A, and some of B.

Did you not see the arrogance and immaturity of this kid? Not giving a single Knick player any credit whatsoever after he and his team lost in 5 games. He immediately left the court without shaking anyone’s hands. He is the definition of entitlement - dude has been shielded his whole life from any type of adversity and then when adversity hits him, he curls up in the fetal position and wants his mommy. He sucks at life and I hope he NEVER wins a championship. I may change my mind about this in time but I need to see more grace, maturity, and humility from him. He has been humbled and boy does he not like it.

He also wants to compete for France and badly wants to win them a World Cup or Olympics. This is not a maybe thing for him, this is as big as the NBA championship for him, a major goal. So yeah, could have a Yao situation here.
