Dead crowd in San Francisco. Group B is the weakest so far, as expected.

No, he’s not. He’s as solid and consistent as they come. He might not have the speed he used to but he’s a smart defender and stays in position very well.

Yes it is. Canada is not good but they’re probably 2nd best in this group. Swiss don’t score goals but they probably don’t have to in order to win the group.

LOL I was watching all the one time touches with creativity wondering what the heck Poch did to our boring American turtle and counter squads.

If only Tim Howard had been born 10-12 years later I would feel real good about making some real progress.

Kinda weird to feel this uncertain about keeper when the rest of the team did that

They have allowed a goal in 17 straight contest and when you go up against the better teams in the cup, you’re going to need a keeper capable of taking good chances away. I don’t get the warm and fuzzies with Freeze/Turner.

It almost reminds me of Man United with Onana in goal. It made the defense play too tight and afraid to give up a shot from anywhere....which is no way to play defense. If the defense feels like it can't give up shots, it'll lead to errors. Once United got rid of Onana and began starting Lammens who brought a sense of calm and steadiness, the defense vastly improved.

The reason the US won't go as far as what might be possible will likely come down to keeper.

And as I say this, what's considered one of the best in the world, Allisson just made a boneheaded error for Brazil leading to a Morocco goal.

This looks like a different sport, compared to the other matches so far. Brazil looked overwhelmed at times, but have the individual quality to top the group.

In other news, my boys have arrived in your house. Take good care of them.

Amigo, if an illegal immigrant or tourist baby has truly special skills or beauty (women), then they can stay. 9's and above for women and no fats. These are my terms.

South Americans and Africans should be used to the heat but somehow I see Asians doing really well there.

It is a real good chance for CR7, Portugal and Spain.

    What's your prediction?

well, good thing the games in Houston, Dallas, and Atlanta are indoors so it's controlled temp

games at Kansas City, Miami, and Mex City are outdoors and gon be hot AF.

I don't think portugal will go far. prolly get eliminated in quarterfinals. I think Spain will make it to the final 4.
