I think we need to make Tmac the 1st option now and let him play his game .. he'll find a way to blend Yao in.

If we're to focus on making Yao our 1st option and if Yao is having a bad game it'll make it harder for Tmac to find his game.

Right now TMAC is more consistence than Yao

I knew this would eventually happen. Thank god people are seeing it. This TMac's team not Yao's.

I agree too. Yao is not even inconsistent. He's just plain bad on offense now. It's like if he doesn't take a lot of shots, he makes most of them. But if he takes a lot of shots, he misses most of them. Maybe he's in a slump, but it doesn't seem like he's going to snap out of it anytime soon.

Yeah..I think Tmac should focus on scoring..cuz he can certainly score. I still was happy with Yao cuz he was aggressive and..well he got tired and he's slow..but that'so kay because he was trying and we can use him efficiently to score. I think we should try to let Yao score...but then if he can't..just give it to Tmac...it shouldn't be that hard..

We need a power forward desperately though. Our 1's...Ward and Lue horrible. Barrett is doin all right and Gaines..well Gaines can't shoot and really can't do much but pass it off and I don't want him trying anything else. We have Sura though..and he is good. He should shoot more often. Can he shoot?

Jimmy is a good 3 point shooter. Nachbar should be his backup..well it depends on the matchups. Bowen is on the injured list.

Mo and Juwan..they started off all right..but one needs to go. Spoon is a good third stringer and so is Padgett.

Dikembe is a good defensive anchor and he is energetic..happy with his 18 million dollar salary.

Tmac should definitely be our #1 option. But give it to Yao frequently..inside outttt lol

We should not give it to Yao first. It takes FOREVER to try to get the ball into him. It really bogs the offense down. What we should do is just give it to TMac and let him create for himself FIRST. Let Yao get the garbage points.

T-Mac IS our first option on offense. Offense going through Yao does not meant that Yao is the first option, it only means that we are running an inside-out offense set.

I been sayin this a million times!!!

    This is T-MAC's TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Yao slows things down too much. Yao should only be given the ball when:

    1. if he's in scoring position
    2. if he can pass it to T-MAC

T-MAC is the team captain and leader!!! Yao is happy to be role player and T-MAC's sidekick. :D

    Agreed.

I think this team has FINALLY found it's identity now. This is officially TMAC's team. He is the #1 option. We are going to go to him early and often. Especially in the post. Get him on the line. Get him in rhythm.

Yao is officially the sidekick until further notice. And that's fine. Yao just needs to continue battling and hopefully we will get to the point where they will be option 1A and 1B.

Kerr alluded to this last night. McGrady has proven he can be the go2 guy, averaging 28 the last few years. At this point Yao is still not the player he should be and would be better served being the second option. In cases where Yao has definite mismatches, maybe have him as the 1st option, but for the most part, let McGrady be the man.

Totally agree. The way Yao being utilized in JVG's system, Yao should just be a side-kick to T-Mac. From now on, rather than Knickerized, the Roc is becoming Magicadiced--high tempo, high scoring, still lottery bound though. Well, at least it's more fun to watch.
