This is why I won't be shocked if the Spurs manage to comeback and take this series (as much as I don't want that to happen)

If they bench Castle for the rest of the series, they have a chance at the comeback

I would be shocked. Especially after the game 4 collapse.

Once in a lifetime the spectacle overwhelms all. And this is one of those times.

If I'm Mitch Johnson I'm telling my players...our sole goal has to be making that comeback...the great moment in Knicks history...completely irrelevant by winning this series. Because if the Spurs come back and win...no one will care about that again.

Exactly, I always tell depressed people to just cheer up and sick people to just feel better... In this case just win.... By winning they can totally make people forget they were losing....

I think the Spurs will prove more resilient in game 5 than some of you think. They won't lay down. Knicks will have to beat them.

An important thing to watch for is can Brunson (and the Knicks offense in general) get off to a decent start and have a good 1st half. When the Spurs are amped, they dominate the Knicks.

So you're motivating your players by trying to get them to ruin a Knicks story ... instead of wanting to win an NBA championship for themselves?

Well, at least now, we know which team is the stupid team. The Spurs could not have played dumber basketball in the second half of game four. I have coached basketball, certainly not at this level. BUT, I would have camped out under the basket the whole second half and dared them to foul my players. I would not have taken a ton of low-percentage shots from thirty feet out.
