Are you new to Vince Gilligan shows? The slow burn is what he does and what makes his shows great.

 

You make a good point. I generally don't like his shows that much. They are good, I can see the reason people like them, but just like Breaking Bad, I don't really enjoy any of them very much. Great concepts, great acting, good scripts, horrible execution. All his shows feel stretched out.
