He was in the voting for 6MOY but you question if he can be a rotation player? He has shown great potential even though his rookie year was wasted. Castle was developed properly and Reed wasn't. I still think he will develop into a very solid player.
Thats the guy Im upset the Spurs got. Harper is going to be really ****ing good. I actually like Castle but I think Reed was a better fit for us, and Castle is in a good spot on the Spurs. Hes usually on the court with 5 out spacing and he is physical and plays hard. Hes also a good passer. Good enough for the spacing they have. Here, hed just add to the spacing issues we already have. I really think people need to be thankful Reed didnt end up on the Spurs though. That would be scary. With Wemby as an anchor plus the other good defenders they have...and then with teams not being able to key on him because he'd also be out there with Fox, Harper, Vassel, Champagnie... In an Alternate universe somewhere the Spurs beat the Thunder before it makes it to 7 and they are up 2-0 instead of down 0-2.
why you upset with Spurs getting Harper when the Rockets didn't have a pick? And how is a guy shooting 30% FG% 29% 3FG% and less than 1 FT a game defensive weak link be a better fit than a guys 47% FG% 36% 3FG% and almost 6 FTs a game defensive stopper On any team That's what some people are are upset about
First thing I thought about was Jabari being rushed by the coaches when there was no need to rush in that situation. A little different for the Spurs since they had to play with some urgency in there situation.
Also it does look like Castle was initially looking for the ball and Wemby just took too long to pass it to him so he just started heading up floor.
What kind of numbers do you losers keep fabricating? Breh critical thinking is not your strong suit. You need to step away and iust stop
Yes. They used it on Brunson’s missed FT, when there was a scramble for the ball (Kornet kicking it), which set up the game winner for Wemby. Also, the Knicks released on Wemby’s rebound. Everyone was open, especially Fox, Castle furthest up the court. Knicks had 3 guys already cross midcourt ready to defend an outlet. He can call time out He can hold the ball like most Cs and make simple pass to Fox Pass to Vassell who has Harper running with him But some reason he thought Castle outlet for 1 on 3 was the best option.
I haven't watched this series but could you imagine how unbelievably impossible Wemby would be to guard if they were playing by the rules from not so long ago where if you breathed on the player it was an automatic foul? They realized that kind of crap doesn't go over with the fans and they needed to toughen it up. Poor Wemby, it's all about timing.
The playoffs have always been “letting them play”. This year has admittedly been more brutal than usual. You could rest assured if GSW or the Lakers were in the finals, Lebron and Steph would be in a constant parade to the line. I hate that there are 3 sets of rules. Regular season rules, Playoff rules, and favorite player rules.
That was the key moment for the Spurs getting back into the game. They were down 12 but Castle getting banged up flopping and then heading to the bench lead to the Spurs going on a run and eventually tying the game. If Castle was hurt worse, they'd be the favorites to win the series but unfortunately for the Spurs he went back into the game and it was a wrap.
Funny that you would pick those two guys. When historical they have shot way less free throws than any other star. I do think the Lakers and Warriors get preferential treatment but it’s not from LeBron and curry. With the lakers Luka and Reaves would be getting tik tack calls and on the other end lakers never foul. With the warriors it’s always been more about what Draymond gets away with. Holding, kicking, moving screens etc. Steph has never been the type of star to get a bunch of free throws but he’s aided by the fact that he can run off 50 moving screens a night,
