The Knicks are a good example of:
1. Coaching can make a huge difference with the same roster
2. Fans tend to over exaggerate and scapegoat their own players.

Remember this is the same Knicks team that everybody said was too flawed to win under Thibs. They said you cant win with small guards like Brunson and for years Kat has been slammed for being too soft and too bad at defense. Wolves even chose old ass Gobert over him, despite Gobert proving to be useless in the playoffs time and time again while Kat is known to be the best stretch C in the league.

Its a good lesson for Rockets fans who get too down on our players. Yeah our core right now is far from Finals material but at the same time they are all in their early 20s, theres still room for improvement.

Brunson wasnt gonna play second fiddle to Luka though. He wanted to be the main.

Luka in Dallas, especially during that Finals run, was too spicy for the league. They had to collude to get him to Luka to LA and gift the Mavs a probably generational talent in Coop, but Mavs fans are still hella salty and JB's play now isn't helping.
