Towns has shown the Blue Print of the type of center it will take to matchup with Wemby. You have to have a center who can bring him out of the paint.

One game does not make a series but continuing to drag out a 6'9 center who can't shoot outside of 10 ft aint it!

Ive been a CONSTANT proponent of trading Sengun for Kel'el Ware and Tyler Herro. The Rockets need a center who can space the floor, yet offers a defensive presence in the paint.

He's an ATROCIOUS defensive player. He's young so he could improve, but he really sucks on defense.

This is WHY Sengun needs a 3 ball.

You guys just come on here and say anything. Did you even watch the game? Towns only took 2 threes and missed both. Knicks offense had nothing to do with the gravity of Towns from three. Chet can shoot threes too so can Hartenstein sometimes. Towns and Robinson played great defense and they are bigger not skinny like Ware so total opposite of what youre saying.

The blueprints from the Knicks is at the defensive end, they held em to 95 points. 6-21 shooting from Wemby.

Do that and then there are plenty of different ways to score the ball and win the game.

If anything KAT is an example of a former Sengun type defender that’s getting the job done.

Towns threat of shooting threes is why he has gravity. That's a dumb argument.

That said, Sengun must add a 3 ball or else he will never ascend to the level of superstar. If not he stays at Sabonis level.

THE WIN HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH TOWNS GRAVITY. You didnt even watch the game. You guys just say anything. The knicks won because of great defense by both their bigs. They were locking wemby up when Kat wasnt even on the floor. It had nothing to do with KAT or Robinson shooting threes.

If you guys knew ANYTHING about basketball you would be dangerous! Lol

Its not the fact that he only took two 3's, its the fact that he was a THREAT from beyond the arc! And because he is....he was able to DRIVE BY Wemby.

You can't compare Chet to Towns and Ware. Ware is a threat to drive by Wemby, similarly to Towns. The Rockets need a center who is a threat behind the arc.

Its the THREAT of being able to make the 3pt shot, which causes Wemby to guard up top, rather than camp out in the lane and effect shots.

No, the Knicks didn't shoot well but by Towns being a threat from the 3, it opened the court for Brunson and others to get into the paint, unlike OKC where Wemby dominated.

I agree, it is like talking to a BRICK WALL! But maybe this can crack it.

If Towns was not a threat from the 3pt line, why was Wemby guarding Towns up high and Towns was able to drive by him?

WEMBY BLOCKED EVERYTHING IN THE LANE HE WANTED TO THATS WHY THE KNICKS STRUGGLED. The knicks won because of lock down defense by Kat and Robinson not offensively. Wemby was killing Them defensively but they hit tough shots in a scramble not from Kat being able to hit the three. You cant just make up your own reality because you want it to be true. What youre saying happened DID NOT HAPPEN.

You don't know anything about basketball. KAT can shoot a three ball, he only attempted 2 because the Spurs played him close to defend the 3 pt shot.

Guy, there is no need to get hostile. We're literally having a conversation about basketball.

If you go back to my initial post, I stated that we needed a Kel'el Ware because he is a 3pt shooting threat, he shot 38% beyond the arc....He is a THREAT.

And because he is a threat, he would bring Wemby out from the paint, similar to what KAT is doing.

Yes, Wemby had 3 blocks last night but he was not as effective DEFENSIVELY, because KAT was able to keep him away from the basket. And it became more evident in the 4th qtr as Brunson and others were able to get to the basket.

We're just discussing basketball and suggesting how to make the Rockets better.
