we missed our turn it was last year when thunder won it all… had we added one significant player at the deadline we had a chance we might have had a chance this year but there is literally nothing we can do to catch up to spurs and thunder (who I assume make a big addition) now
Tillman is trying to develop Patrick into a good owner who is trying to develop Stone into a good GM who is trying to develop Reed and Amen into NBA point guards. The Rockets organization is in development hell right now.

There is NO ****ING TURN - you go out, you pick up players, you hire a smart coach, and you TAKE IT. We don't have the players, nor the coach, so we have to keep churning...... DD
Your right. Which means you and I will both be long gone from this earth before the rockets win again. There will be Presidents again that are not in their 70-80’s. All be right in the world once again, we just won’t be there to see it. Specific year is 2078.

It starts with a good bb culture. The Spurs and OKC have it. The Rockets are still missing a good, competent GM, headcoach, and assistant coaches. Ours are useless.
Definitely see a trend there. But can't deny that talent is a requirement too. Sometimes it's a flash in a pan culture though. Just a bunch of vets steadying the locker room + good talent. Rockets must've been shooting for that scenario until they apparently lost hope for our "young core" and acquired Dickerson at a discount.
