I hate ALL New York sports teams with every fiber of my being but I CANNOT root for the Spurs in the NBA Finals. God, it sucks to be a Rockets fan.

if i didnt like the rockets so much, I would have considered this a classic series. Wemby and SGA are good young players. good for them.

Nah...outside of maybe rival Western teams everyone else loves Wemby.

OKC, Lakers, Rockets, Spurs, Nuggets, Minny, we all hate the MFer because he's in the way but I 100% know everyone on the East and other teams that are completely irrelevant think he's enjoyable...all of them are rooting for him to get rid of the Knicks.

And he's good for the NBA, he openly just says what is on his mind, isn't scared of trash talk or adding drama, he's very good for the stage.

I think SGA is more unlikable because he's not very charismatic, he pretty much just goes about his business and moves on. Same for Jokic too.

Wemby is the face of the league now.

The Laker stans are pro Wemby bc it suits them to usurp SGA but once that fades, they are back to being against him.

Just watch.....esp. if they realize Luka and Giannis or whoever won't be enough against an 8 footer.

Sure, they want to sign Wemby outright but I doubt that happens so soon or ever.

San Antonio making the finals with Wemby already is bleak and all but you guys should try trolling some Thunder fans right now, it's a genuinely good time

Oh yeah definitely. They just rooted for him this round because they were bitter that OKC eliminated them, which was odd, they never had a shot at winning anything this year lol.

naw they lost because 2 of their best players were out. If one of them was there. they would have won. i think.

One of the reasons I like SGA and Jokic is because they aren't full of themselves and think the world needs to hear them. Being NBA superstars who've won multiple MVPs and led their teams to championships hasn't gone to their heads. They are solely about mastering their craft and being the best they can be. They also have the heart of a lion.

In today's world, this combination is unique and admirable IMO.

I'm rooting for the Spurs and will be happy to see them win. It's Texas, and it's pretty much been a legendary and heroic underdog franchise over the last 30 years.

One of the smallest markets in the NBA, with one of these least affluent fan bases dominating the league is amazing.

Also this might be one of the few times in history, a team with mediocre or above average shooters like Stephon Castle, Vassell, Keldon, Champagnie are all collectively shooting close to 40% from 3.....

Maybe take out Champagnie, who might become a sniper.

Is very rare in the Playoffs.
