Will someone please tell ABC that this show is absolutely UN-entertaining!!! Give me Charlie Brown and his wussy Christmas tree anytime, but not this lame-acting excuse for a Christmas special. And...Jessica never goes over-the-top with her renditions of someone else's music. Blahhhhhhh...
I watched two seconds of this show and wanted to kill myself immediately. I could be wrong, but I think suicide would be the opposite of the intended effect that ABC hoped to achieve. Minion: Sir, another "Nick and Jessica" viewer just killed themselves. Executive: My God, that's terrible! How old was the victim? Minion: 52, sir. Executive: Eh. They're not in our target demographic.
a lotta you sure seemed to watch it. i'm embarrassed for my tv that it had to show it. this doesn't change the fact jessica is amazingly hot.
The show is not that bad if you see it as a self-parody. Of course, a parody of a mockery of marriage is pretty sad. But like a bad accident on the freeway, you just can't look away. Happy holidays.
yeah...felt the same way!!! i turned it on last night while my wife and i were sitting on the couch watching...we watched less than a minute and i said, "please change it. i'm embarassed to be watching this."
We didn't even get that far. When I was looking at the ReplayTV guide last night, I asked the wife if she wanted me to record it and we decided to let the DVR sit idle rather than record that trash. EDIT: Had there been even the remote chance of a "wardrobe malfunction," I would have recorded it, but the chances of that happening were between slim and none, so...
I watched the very beginning out of morbid curiosity. She makes egg nog with the egg shells still in it and doesn't know which one the oven is, [sarcasm]hilarious![/sarcasm] Then she pouts because it's not Christmasy enough, so she gets Nick to wish for that to change. It doesn't work, so he kisser her, but not like a family special kiss, it's more like a "come here you sexy b****" kiss. Then they are suddenly like in an Aspen mansion with decorations, just an ordinary family Christmas. Then some Christmasy music comes on and when you think Jessica is going to sing some nice music, she starts using her deep and sexy singing voice. That's when I changed it. Mind you, that all happend pretty fast. But in that short time, I saw so many things that don't make it a family special at all.
I let my wife watch it last nite, there wasn't really anything on. The only condition on my part was that I could watch the Suns Cavs game on the split screen. God that stupid show was the most grating piece of crap I ever had to listen to! Even with my attention on the game it was by far the longest hour of my life! When will these guys fad away like all the rest of the fads? WHEN???? Needless to say I didn't enjoy it.
