Done. You know, I started a thread entitled Positive Thoughts as an extreme reaction to what I assumed would be the majority of threads after this debacle. But you took it one step further. Bravo! I'm all for supporting the team and being positive, but at the same time, these "millionaires" deserve to be called out.
this is true but lets not forget that CD should get some blame as well for not putting together a better team and for all the horrible drafts and bad personal decisions he has made over the past 4 yrs. He needs to go as well as Van Grumpy.

'03 YOU ARE THE MAN. I came to work today all down about the fact my Rockets have no heart. Then I read about some lunatic raizin hell with JVG and things start lookin up. So I switch to the BBS to find out the full story..... and what do ya know, its better than the media made it out to be. He's to you R0ckets03 and a little hope we can turn this around.
I like Van Gundy, but I think he'll unfortunately resign (and basically quit) on his team like he did in NY because it appears they've already quit on him. So, the Rockets won't fire him after all, he'll just leave if it doesn't get any better. Just a suspicion.
I thought that as well, but the more I think about it the more I think he will wait to get fired. First, if he quits again he will be done forever as an NBA coach since this will be the second time he's quit on a team. Second, if he quits now he will lose the 2 1/2 years remaining on his contract. That's a lot of $$$.
CD should have been gone when they dumped Eddie Griffin. If Rudy T had to fall on his sword, then CD's head should have been right there on the chopping block as wel. Instead, he's "rewarded" for his numerous personnel screw ups with a two year contract extension. So get used to this because things won't change until the Rockets get themselves a competent GM.
Heck yeah! I was with Rockets03. We were so loud Keith Jones looked up at us when we were in the upper deck (1st row). He deserves it. The best reaction we got was when we were behind him at the end of the game and Rockets03 said "How does a team with Mcgrady and Yao only score 70 freaking points!!" These 2 guys right behind the bench starting rolling!
Agreed. Quitting again basically ends his coaching career with the NBA. However, I wonder if CD/Les can push JVG out like they did to Rudy. Although, Rudy officially "quit" everyone knows it was Les/CD kicking him out the door. Would JVG do the same? Would he want to save face? Whatever it is, I couldn't care less, as long as his ASS is gone.
